Voluntary Water Conservation ProgramVOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION PLAN Because current conditions indicate that water supplies this year may be insufficient to meet normal customer demand, California American Water has implemented a Voluntary Water Conservation Plan aimed at reducing water usage. The non-essential uses of water that customers are to avoid are included as an insert with this bill. By adhering to the goals of this plan, and depending upon the development of California's water supply situation, it is possible that more stringent, mandatory conservation measures might be avoided. Customers can visit their district office to receive conservation kits that will help conserve water.
