Phone Message to All Customers

New Jersey American Water recently launched the following phone message to all customers, "Due to the severe cold, we have experienced a high volume of water main breaks. You are receiving this message because you reside in an area affected by water main breaks, though you may or may not be personally affected. We are addressing each break as quickly and safely as we can. We are unable to give an ETA on repairs at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding."


Please know that if you are directly impacted by a main break in your area you will be receiving a notification on that specific event. The purpose for the call was to let customers know we have an increase number of main breaks throughout our service areas due to the weather we are experiencing. Our hard-working, dedicated employees have been working around the clock to make sure these main breaks are repaired as quickly and safely as possible.
