New Shirt Marks the Official Start of CFC Season
Chattanooga, Tenn. (May 14, 2019) – Phillip D. Glass, the Tennessee American Water icon that sits atop the company’s landmark water storage tank on Amnicola Highway, is helping kick off Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season by sporting a jersey with the Club’s logo.
Now in its 10th year, Chattanooga FC’s first home match against Greenville FC takes place on May 18 at Finley Stadium, 7:30 p.m.
“Tennessee American Water is proud to show its support for Chattanooga Football Club, which has served as a catalyst for Chattanooga’s soccer community,” said Director of Operations Kevin Kruchinski. “It’s been exciting to watch the growing support for the sport, whether it’s watching our kids play, playing ourselves or being a fan at Finley stadium.”
“Chattanooga FC’s mission is to use soccer as a tool to build community in Chattanooga for all citizens,” said CFC Chairman Tim Kelly. “CFC is all about Chattanooga, local investors who are part of the community who invest in soccer for our fans, for our youth and for encouraging healthy lifestyles.”
Since January, CFC has offered ownership shares to the public and its fans under the crowdfunding rules of Jobs Act. Fans have until June 1 to purchase shares and become a part owner of the Club.
