Kentucky American Water Names Doug Brock Manager of Field Operations

Kentucky American Water has named Doug Brock as manager of field
operations. Brock succeeds Dillard Griffin, who is retiring from the
company after 41 years of dedicated service.
In this role, Brock will oversee operations and maintenance of the
company’s water distribution system, to include management oversight of
activities such as reading and testing meters, repairing and replacing
pipes, managing local customer service functions and maintaining fire
hydrants.
Brock joined the company in April 2009 as director of customer relations
for the Eastern Division of American Water. Before joining American
Water, Brock served in the electric industry for more than 20 years.
“Doug has been a tremendous asset to American Water since joining the
company’s Eastern Division two years ago, and we look forward to the
contributions he will bring to his new role at Kentucky American Water,”
said Keith Cartier, vice president of operations. “Doug is dedicated to
quality performance and excellent customer service, and we are delighted
that he has accepted this new role.”
Brock earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from the
University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky., and a master’s
degree in business administration from Campbellsville University in
Campbellsville, Ky.
He and his wife reside in Versailles, Ky.
