Pennsylvania American Water Announces Promotion of Senior Manager of Operations

Pennsylvania American Water announced today the promotion of Marek
Jacobs to senior manager of Operations for Pennsylvania American Water
in the Southwest District.
In this role, Jacobs will manage the operation of the company’s
facilities and personnel for Pennsylvania American Water’s Southwest
district, which includes the company’s McMurray, Connellsville, Mon
Valley, Brownsville, Uniontown and Claysville service areas. He will be
based in company’s McMurray office.
Jacobs’ 14-year career with American Water started in St. Louis as an
engineering technician, where he was responsible for reviewing,
designing and managing water main relocation projects and water main
extensions for new developments.
Prior to joining American Water, he worked at Black & Veatch Corporation
as an engineering associate. Jacobs’ received a bachelor of science
degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri while
working as a full-time employee at American Water.
