Pennsylvania American Water Honors Local Operations Team with Extra Mile Award
Dateline City:
HERSHEY, Pa.
Pennsylvania American Water recognized four employees of its Yardley
water system with the company’s “Extra Mile Award” for July. The monthly
recognition program rewards outstanding employees who demonstrate great
customer service and exhibit the kind of behavior that encourages others
to follow their lead.
The July award honors four Yardley Field Operations employees whose
efforts to support a new technology program, Computerized Maintenance
Management System (CMMS), have helped teach fellow employees across
Pennsylvania how to implement the program quickly and effectively. The
CMMS technology enables the company to better manage its maintenance and
parts needs for water mains, hydrants, valves and related equipment.
The four winners of the company’s Extra Mile Award are:
-
Richard Stewart lives in Fairless Hills, PA, and is a 22-year employee
of Pennsylvania American Water.
-
Russell “Chick” Dodaro, a resident of Bensalem, PA, is a 21-year
employee.
-
Richard Pierone lives in Palmyra, NJ, and is a four-year employee.
-
Matthew Cariola is a resident of Trevose, PA, and is a five-year
employee.
“Our Extra Mile program is an opportunity to spotlight employees like
Richard, Chick, Richard and Matthew, who are leading the way in adapting
to new technologies, so that we can operate more efficiently and better
serve our customers,” said Pennsylvania American Water President Kathy L
Pape.
