These inspections also allows us to monitor and maintain fire hydrants. When crews are working in your area, you may notice reduced pressure, cloudy and or discolored water. Lakewood, Lakewood, New Jersey American Water work crews will be preforming night utility work on Sunset Road and Caranetta Drive beginning next week, June 24th. This section of Sunset Road between baseball field and Central Avenue will be closed from 8 PM to 5 AM. Please utilize Central Avenue to Cross Street to James Street or Central Avenue to Route 9 to James Street as alternative routes. Night work for this section of Sunset Road is anticipated to be completed by July 5th depending on weather and any unforeseen conflicts. Please pay attention to all roadway signage and drive safely.
