Fire Road, Ocean City This is an important message from New Jersey American Water. New Jersey American Water is almost finished with the construction work going on in your area. The last phase involves tying in our newly installed water mains to the existing water mains. Please be aware that your WATER WILL BE TEMPORARILY SHUT OFF for a few hours while this work is being completed. Weather permitting, our contractor will begin work on 1/29/2020 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please prepare yourself to be without water between those hours. Belle Mead, Bridgewater New Jersey American Water crews are performing emergency work on a main along Cole Street and Fairmount Ave in Bridgewater. It is estimated that repairs will be completed by approximately 4 PM. Customers along the following streets may experience low pressure, no water, discolored and or cloudy water while repairs are being made: Cole Street, Fairmount Ave between Cole Street and Charles St. If you experience cloudy and or discolored water after repairs are complete, open a cold water faucet from the closest point where the pipe enters the property and allow the water to flow for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this flushing step once or twice within an hour as necessary until the water clears. We apologize for any inconvenience. Belle Mead: Bound Brook: Longwood Ave New Jersey American Water Contractor Crews will be installing new water main and service lines along Longwood Avenue and Bryant Court in Bound Brook, as a part of New Jersey American Water Company's distribution system improvement program. Work will begin Thursday, January 30th and is expected to last four weeks, weather permitting. Traffic will be affected while crews are performing work. Our construction inspector will be providing letters to customers along Longwood avenue from tea street to Bryant court, all of Bryant court, and from highland place to Vosseller avenue. Customers in the area may experience low pressure, no water, and or cloudy water during hours work is taking place. In the event of discolored water, customers should run cold water faucets until the water runs clear. Thank you for your patience while we work to improve water service in the area.
