New Jersey:Rumson This is an important message from New Jersey American Water. New Jersey American Water will be replacing water mains in Rumson. Weather Permitting, the project will start on Monday February 26, 2018 and be completed by approximately Monday April 23, 2018. As a result of these repairs customers on the following streets: Holly St, Cedar Ave, Rosalie Ave, Highland Ave, Island Rd, Black Point Rd may experience, NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, DISCOLORED WATER. When service is restored, customers may experience cloudy and or discolored water. If your water is discolored, run the cold water only at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes so that it clears before using. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while repairs are being made."

Customers in the surrounding area may be experiencing low pressure, discolored water, or could have no water. Crews have isolated the main break and are it is estimated that repairs will be completed within 4 to 6 hours. Water pressure are improving and should return to normal within a few hours. Customers in the area may be experiencing low pressure, discolored water, or could have no water. Crews will be shutting off water service to nearby customers while repairs are being made. It is anticipated that repairs will take approximately four to six hours. Once repairs are completed, customers in that area may experience discolored or cloudy water. South Operations, Mount Laurel, Crews will be working on a water main along Church Road at Beaver Avenue in Mount Laurel on the night of 02/20/2018. The following areas may be affected: Church Road from Glenbrook Boulevard to Fellowship Road. Crews will be shutting off water service to customers on this section of Church Road while repairs are being made. Service will be shut off at approximately 8:00 PM on 02/20/2018. It is estimated that repairs will be completed by approximately 5:00 AM on 02/21/2018. Customers in the area whose service is not turned off might experience discolored water and/or lower than normal water pressure. Crews will work as quickly as possible to shorten the length of these temporary inconveniences, thank you for your patience.

Plainfield New Jersey American Water crews are scheduled to make repairs to our underground equipment at your property between February 10, 2018 and February 18, 2018, weather permitting.
