W County Line Rd - Lakewood This is an important message from New Jersey American Water. New Jersey American Water will be performing upgrades to the water system which may require water mains to be shut down intermittently along Squankum Rd in Lakewood. Water will only be shutdown for a short time and turned back on once repairs are complete. Weather Permitting, the project will start on 10/15/17 and be completed by approximately 10/19/17. As a result customers on the following streets; Squankum Rd, Whispering Pine Ln, Milton St, Joda Dr, Lindsey Ct, Jason Ct, Apollo Rd, Mars Ave, Baila Dr. May Experience the following; TEMPORARY NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, DISCOLORED WATER. Service is restored each morning; customers may experience cloudy and or discolored water. If your water is discolored, run the cold water only at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes so that it clears before using. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while repairs are being made.

Manville - Belle Mead Crews will be replacing one thousand, four hundred feet of water main along south 8th avenue in Manville, as a part of New Jersey American Water Company's distribution system improvement program. Work will begin approximately 7 a m on Friday, October 6th and is expected to last 6 weeks, weather permitting. Customers in the following areas may experience low pressure, no water, and or cloudy water during hours work is taking place: south 8th avenue between Roosevelt avenue and South Street. South 8th avenue will be closed to traffic while work is being performed. In the event of discolored water, customers should run cold water faucets until the water runs clear. We apologize for any inconvenience. This improvement project will improve water service in the area. Work is typically performed in one day between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Permanent restoration will be completed by our contractor, typically within approximately 60 days, weather permitting.
