Planned Outage & Boil Water Advisory / New Albany, IN This is an important message from Indiana American Water. Our crews will be replacing a fire hydrant in our system on 1/28/2020 in your area, which will require temporary disruption of your water service. We are currently scheduled to be working in the following streets: Budd Rd, Georgiana Dr, Marianna Dr and Haze Dr in New Albany. Water service will be turned off at approximately 9:00 AM and could be interrupted for up to 6 hours. Once repairs are made and water service is restored, customers in the affected area should bring their water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes before using water for drinking or cooking. Water is okay for bathing, washing and other common uses. This boil advisory is being issued due to water pressure dropping below 20 pounds per square inch in our distribution system. When this occurs, the state of Indiana requires that a boil water advisory be issued as merely a precaution to protect customers.
