Terre Haute 3rdAve_BWA This is an important message from Indiana American Water. Due to a valve replacement, customers in Terre Haute, Indiana who live on Third Avenue from North 19th to North 22nd, on North 20th from Third Avenue to Fifth Avenue, and on Fourth Avenue from North 20th to North 22nd will experience a temporary interruption to their water service beginning on Thursday, March 21st at 10:00 am. The water could be off for up to 4 hours. You are receiving this message because you reside in the affected area and a boil water advisory will be in effect. Once repairs are made and water service is restored, customers in the affected area should bring their water to a rolling boil for 3 minutes before using water for drinking or cooking. Water is OK for bathing, washing and other common uses. This boil advisory is being issued in accordance with Indiana regulations. Any time water pressure drops below 20 pounds per square inch in any part of a community’s distribution system, a boil advisory must be issued as a precaution to protect customers.
