Kentucky American Water:Rockcastle/ Livingston-Sand Hill Boil Water Advisory Lift
The boil water advisory has been lifted for customers in the following areas: All of the Sand Hill area customers which includes: Sand Hill Rd, Long Branch Rd, Ford Hollow Rd, Ranch Rd, Snowy Rd, and Blackburn Ln. Customers no longer have to boil their water. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, so there is no need to continue boiling your water. However, customers on Eagle Hill Road, Petit Pike, Petit Park, and Cook Road remain on the boil water advisory. The advisory has been lifted for all other customers. We appreciate your patience during this event. During a boil water advisory, it is recommended that customers boil for three minutes any tap water they intend to use for consumption -- such as for drinking, cooking or making ice. After boiling water, customers should let water cool before consuming it.
