Educating Students at our Wonderful World of Water at Summer Camps
Sponsored by Pennsylvania American Water and organized in cooperation with Penn State Extension/Master Watershed Stewards, three “Wonderful World of Water Day Camps” are scheduled for 2025. Day campers ages 7-11 will explore water and watershed basics, learned how human impact on the land affects water quality in our rivers and streams, and discovered solutions to water pollution.
- York Wonderful World of Water Camp will be held June 23-25 at Keystone Kidspace. Registration opens May 1. To register, call Keystone Kidspace at 717-900-9915. Registration is limited. A deposit of $10 will hold a child’s space, and the deposit will be refunded upon arrival at camp.
- Luzerne County Wonderful World of Water Camp will be held July 14-17 at Wilkes University. Registration opens June 1. To register, call Penn State Extension at 570-825-1701. Registration is limited. A deposit of $10 will hold a child’s space, and the deposit will be refunded upon arrival at camp.
- Lackawanna County Wonderful World of Water Camp will be held August 4-7 at the Valley Community Library, Peckville. Registration opens July 1. To register,call Penn State Extension at 570-825-1701.
